Today I narrate the story of the Selcuk a small train station town next to
Ephesus well known antik city of the B.C

I planned design in one side exactly9meters x 4 meters layout with DC system most probably using with TILLIG rails.I guess this will be delightful
next my Marklin system.In the final I manage with ECOS commander both system.

In this plan I try to do exactly 1/87 copy of the station and the environment with part of antic city ephesus and a mountain village very famaous with old houses in the years of 1960's

2 weeks ago I was in the region and took abot 500 pictures for use
during modelling.


For Turkey This will be the first strong modeltrain project.

In the final I Hope rivet counters will satisfy during stone counting
of the houses.

I added some main pictures and the final 4 pictures from a water house
in SELCUK station.

Without details such as lamp-signs etc.station has been completed.

I have to postphone the project till Leizpug messe where I have to choose the rails,Tillig is my mind however may meet better alternatives.

Here above the plan of the selcuk station.

There 7 gleis and plus 1 blind gleis ended loading ramp.

In 1970 -1980 year br 52 and br 44 modified Turkish type
steam locs wer working.I mainly choose these models.

I already interrupped thi work till return from Leipzig messe where
I ll decide the rail models Tillig or others?

wo ist der Rand von der Wirklichkeit?

Heute empfing ich von meinem Freund im selcuk, welches die Drossel pulverisiert. diese Puder sind von der Drosselsteingrube.
Ich habe Gelegenheit, das gleiche Material in meinem Projekt zu benutzen

these powders are from ballast stone mine.

Good days

I tried to copy historical water arch ( built A.C 200 or bit later by Roman)in Selcuk

Arch is just next to station.
I draw your attention one important matter.
I discovered during hand making the ceramics

Arch is very similiar of our railway tunnels*more or less same dimensions

we knew railway measurement is just the development of the horse car dimensions ,which are passing under the archs.

Can we say 1500 years later railway buildersinspired by the Roman archs?

Knowing it is only HO scale..very detailed and engraving all those bricks pffff

Good days

After a long time I continue my layout with an operational
signal house inside will be donate by the faller accesories
Aim for this building

1-Control table with green-red-yellow lights
2-An open window wings
3-Furnished inside of the rooms

Than I will continue with the signal accesories joined the rails and house



I produced required resin moulded





roof prepared from Balsa and resin roof cut in 6 pieces



first painted with Dark blue color for light proof.
Later white color applicated for preparation main color dark yellow and grey after 1 day waiting for drying.
