Hello people, My name is Yuri and it was Tom's idea to join a German Forum to find some Z scale modern engines.

As you guys see, I don't speak German and my native language is Spanish. I'm from Chile and I live in California/USA.

I'm looking for some modern dead/dummy engines to garnish a fantasy German/European regional airport. Unlike the USA, Europe has a train culture and its use is generous. I like using Marklin products because it has some great modern trains. I have just learn of a Japanese brand Tokio MARUI Zpro and they look great too.

I may post asking questions and my apologies if I don't reply fast to those in German to soon. most likely I will not try posting in German just yet. Perhaps few classes will be required before I try that.

My very best Regards to you all

Hi Yuri,

I´d like to welcome you here at Stummi´s.

I hope you find what you are looking for.

Some of the members here are z-friends, but most of them use H0 scale (so do I). Nevertheless there surely are some z-experts here.
But don´t mind if questions to z scale models are not answered as fast as those to H0 scale.

Perhaps you should also have a look at the z-friends Europe as well as the free online journal trainini (unfortunately only in german) by Holger Späing.
In the trainini download section Holger will present the new z-scale 2008 calendar for download in November.
He just finished the photo shooting for the calendar a few days ago.
In the download section there are also pdf-files of trainini 09/2008 and the brand new 10/2008, released Oct.14.

Kind regards

Viele Grüße
Hendrik
