I already published this but in the wrong place, I think
NextGen is a Windows application to simulate the sound functions of an ESU Loksound 5 decoder.
You can open standard Loksound 5 sound files (free download at ESU), or your own home made with Lokprogrammer and use (test) the sound functions.
In combination with the z21 or DR5000 you can control a (non sound) loco and hear the sound as if a sound decoder was installed.
The sound however comes from the computer instead of the loco.
A Multimaus function is provided to use the application as a virtual sound decoder and reroute the loco data.
In this case a perfect synchronisation of the drive sound can be accomplished.
The application is free for personal use and can be downloaded from the link below,

There is no installer or manual yet so please read the readme.txt file.
I also want to thank my German friends on this forum that helped me testing the application.
Below some sample videos of the application.
Happy sounding.
