I have recently purchased the above Roco cars.

Does anyone know what plan year they are?

I am running them with the following coaches

C 4u 28
AB 6u Pr 06
C 4u Pr 08

Would a class 18.1 have been able to pull this 9 coach train?

Hello John,

the württ.C / cl 18.1 was able to pull rather heavy trains. 9 coaches would be a rather long train but never the less possible. Of course there shouldn't be any steeper gradients on her way.

die württ.C / BR18.1 war in der Lage ziemlich lange Züge zu ziehen. 9 Wagen wäre ein ziemlich langer Zug gewesen, nichts desto trotz war das möglich. Natürlich sollten in diesem Fall keine steilen Anstiege auf der Laufstrecke sein.

Your data on FD 176 is most useful. I am trying to model the area around the Bodensee.

So through good luck I appear to havea fairly typical train.

Now I need to find some more stock to build a second train!
