The locomotives of this series were built for hauling freight, but they worked and hauling passenger trains. In 1917. for the Imperial Austrian railways were built two test locomotives as the first freight locomotives on superheated steam. Complete construction of a large number of these locomotives lasted since 1920. to 1922. factory and Wiener Neustadt. In Austria, they were numbered as BBO. Second World War with the other by as much as 35 as a consequence of the Italian occupation ,they worked with Slovenia and Istria, and until the abolition of steam traction.
