Hallo F-zug Freunde,

Ich habe den neuen Piko Modell von den ARüm-216 gekauft Und Wunsch, Datum es zu Epoche IIIb, Stähl Blau Halbspeisewagen 11 818 zu unterstützen.

Ich werde die ganzen Beschriftungen als Wasserdiaübertragungen lassen ausdenken, Ich habe die meisten gefunden, wovon notwendig ist, Aber Bedürfnis, das eigentliche Format des Datenunterausschusses zu wissen Welcher zwischen die Tür und das Fenster zur Linken des wagen gestellt ist.

Könnte irgendjemand rät, was bitte erfordert ist.



I have purchased the new Piko model of the ARüm-216 and wish to back date it to Epoche IIIb, Steel Blue Halbspeisewagen 11 818.
I will have all the inscriptions made up as water slide transfers, I have found most of what is needed, but need to know the actual format of the data panel which is placed between the door and the window on the left of the coach.
Could anyone advise what is required please.

Esn stands for Bundesbahndirektion Essen, the administrative district/area which Dortmund Hbf belongs to.

@ berndm, thank you and yes please, I have contacted Andreas Nothaft who has kindly offered his services, so I will need all the inscriptions on the coach and he will custom the decals to my requirements for 11 818.
By the way this coach will have brass window frames and door fittings as per the prototype

I have sourced all the inscriptions, thanks to Will Berghoff http://www.berghoff.net/modellbahn/ who supplied all the data to Andreas Nothaft http://www.modellbahndecals.de/ for the tranfers and to http://www.beckert-modellbau.de to produce the DSG small door column shields in etched brass.
The prototype DSG Speisewagenschilder has been ordered from Weinert part number 9112, can be found on page 212 http://blaetterkatalog.weinert-modellbau.de/

So hope to have everything to hand by Easter, so work can begin, the coach has already been taken to pieces so the interior can be painted in its correct colours.

Looking forward to completing this project!

By the way I could not do 11 818 as the Piko model does not have the Air Conditioning modelled, so I have gone with 11 815 which is a Koln Coach used on the Dompfeil.

Hello All,

This project has become truly international, Steel blue paint sourced from Scotland, all lettering and Brass fittings from Germany.
Finally sprayed the coach body today, surprised how different the RAL paint finish is compared to other commercially available steel blue coaches I have?
I have a photograph of the coach at Hannover Hbf in 1966, the shield at the dining room end has the DSG shield then DSG-SPEISERAUM, this can be produced from Kreye transfers, something a little different.
Once the coach has been completed, I will show you the result.
