wow, that´s really a fantastic diorama! It´s really looking as realistic, as it can be. My favorite is the 3rd picture. For me, it´s not visible, that the road is on your diarama and not original. Or did you show pictures from the original? Could you tell us more, how you built the road with its cracks?
your modeling has its own typical handwriting. It is extraordinary art and always a great motivation for me to improve my personal skills. Thank you very much for showing us this fine diorama!
Best greetings to the south

Zitat This is the best looking road ever seen on a model railroad.
Best regards, Bernhard
It sure is! I totally agree with Bernhard. Also the weathering inside the tunnel is excellent. I have never seen something looking as realistic as this. I would say: perfect! Thanx for posting. Bettina
Hola Jose Es un trabajo maravillosa. (eine wunderbare Arbeit) The detailling is extraordinary in its perfection. a detailled description on how you created the read and the tunnel would be great.
muchas gracias

Axel, I'll tell you the way I did: the surface is Depron 2mm thick. The cracks are carved with a very fine punch and all this before gluing in its final place for a better manipulation. Once the piece was glued in place, I applied gesso with a sponge roller. I painted the road with airbrush: first with an anthracite gray ref: 71052 of Vallejo and the treads with gray sea ref: 71049. of Vallejo. Once dry I painted the white lines with airbrush. I accentuated more the treads with PanPastels: neutral gray and gray shadow. I also emphasized some cracks with dark wash of Ammo Mig Jimenez. Fix with matt varnish: Marabu Mattlack spray.
The tunnel is made with a down pipe 110 mm in diameter cut in half. On the outside to make the appearance out of granular concrete, I used gesso by tapping with a hard brush. Painted with a medium gray and the rest of the patina based on pigments. Fixed with Mattlack spray, Marabu.
The interior is painted with a medium gray. Everything is masked except the area that will be white. It is sprayed with hair spray, allowed to dry and painted white. Once dry, the chips are made randomly by rubbing with a damp brush of water.
The interior humidities are made with Streaking Effects by AK Interactive: Streaking Grime, Rust Streaks, Rain Marks for Nato Tanks, etc. They are drawn in the interior, it is advised to take as an example real dampness and try to imitate them. To blur these drawings, once the enamel has dried, with a flat brush moistened in White Spirit or turpentine, it rubs on them in descending direction. Mold and pigment with pigments, I use Artitec pigments.

Hello Jose very cool Diroama!!! i am looking for some inspiration to build a Foto Diorama, yours is looking as a very good template. i like the Tunnel inside, the Road Tarmac and specially the River... just great. Thanks for Sharing!! Regards Dumeng
Great pictures are this! I like them very much, and my wife as well.
Some years ago we passed along the coastal road from Valencia to Alicante. Your diorama strongly reminds me to this exciting trip. There were several sections, with steep rocks, tunnels, also with a railroad running parallel to the road (actually a 1m gauge train) that looked very much the same as your diorama. The colors, vegetation, rock formations, and even the style of the road, the tunnel valves, the bridge, seem fully authentic. Even the enormous car traffic on this road is right!
Best regards, we shall stay tuned

Hello. A few more photos of the diorama. They are made at 8:00 A.M. Actual time for the sun here in Spain 6:00 A.M. And it was already unbearably hot. In these photos I have put a typical composition of time III.
sehr schönes und gelungenes Dioramo. Besonders an den kleinen Details, wie z.B. den Tunnelinnenwänden, sieht man, dass Du ein Auge fürs Detail hast. Gefällt mir sehr!
Hi Jose Manuel, Great work. Well done ! I like rocks, bridges and water. Pictures are speaking. It ´s like a scenery for an action film. Mind the sunlight can damage your cars and locos, as deforme the plastic and make pale the colour. Greetings from Hamburg Steve -
