I think that you make a great mistake concerning the plastic tracks serie 2200. The space of 57 mm is even theoriticly unacceptable. You have to try having a center to center space of 64.65 mm with the use of the track 2203.
if the basic layout is dominated with compact tracks serie 24171 and switches 24611 and 24620, we have a distance of 77.50 mm and this must be covered with 2X2203 and one 2204. So the plastic diagonal segment will be laid with 2275, 2203, 2204, 2203, 2275 etc.

Why is the space of 57 mm unacceptable as center to center? That is 1:1, center to center 4,95 meters.
That is way to much. And it doesn't look real.
On my layout I have a center to center distance 47 mm! that is 1:1 4,08 meters. Only on the visible tracks.
And this looks really really nice.
Offcause on the invisible tracks the center to center distence increases, so trains wont hit each other in corners.

I am very curious, what you have to say about that.

Why must he go to the overseized standard of C-track?

Ich lebe übrigens noch Mein Status ist jedoch immer noch der Selbe; ich finde leider weder die Zeit noch die Motivation mich im Moment mit der vorhandenen Planung ernsthaft auseinanderzusetzen. Heisst:Ich bin beruflich sehr eingespannt und in der übrigen, spärlichen Zeit hat die Planung nicht meine ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit. Ich bin aber nach wie vor immer mal wieder am überlegen in welche Richtung es weitergehen soll. Ich möchte mich dafür bedanken, dass es seit meinem "Verschwinden" nicht x negative Posts gehagelt hat. Das ist nich selbstverständlich.
