Hello wise modellers!

I have three lovely Roco Br50s to run my model railway. I have no turntable at the endbahnhof, so engines must return to base tender first, towing the train backwards.

Alas! There appears to be no method to attach a NEM compatible kadee coupler to the locomotive at the front end. My Gutzold Br52 has an 'arm' that goes over the front truck assembly; I assumed the Rocos had a similar thing.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows the solution.

This piece of equipment is part of the original delivery, but must be self fitted from the parts bag that comes with every locomotive.

If you dont have the parts bag anymore you may be able to buy it separately from Roco.

In addition to Ralf's posting, the "arm" included provides for an NEM pocket. For the Kadee couplers, this non-articulated arm fits well, for short couplers like roco, Fleischmann etc., a kinematic would be better.
