I understand that a lot of readers of this list are very familiar with our decoders and ESU is really interested in listening to the comments of our customers regarding our implementation of manual notching.

Es ging um das Problem das bei US Dieseln der "Notch" sprich "Run 1" bis "Run 8" der Motorlast und nicht der Geschwindigkeit entspricht, d.h. z.B. ein schwerer Zug wird eine Steigung hinaufkriechen mit voller Motorlast, und abwaerts wird (fast) nur noch die Ventilatoren der dynamischen Bremsen (Luefter der Bremswiderstaende) zu hoeren sein.
So, jetzt zu meiner Frage: Ich bisher QSI benutzt, aber das hoert sich recht interessant an. Nur habe ich weder Lokprogrammer noch einen LS 3.5 decoder, funktioniert das jetzt wenigstens auf Beta-Level (sprich es reicht mir erstmal wenn es ansatzweise funktioniert)
Da LS 3.5 auch bei PCM benutzt wird (statt QSI bei BLI, Atlas, Lionel-H0, LL Proto2000, ...), dann waeren dann auch deren Modelle interessant fuer mich (wenn es denn geht, in ein paar Monaten) Wagt es jemand mit LS 3.5 und Lokprogrammer das mal auszuprobieren?
Uebrigens hatte ich mal eine M BR05 neben einer PCM Reading T1 und BLI PRR J1. Ach Du meine Guete ... sowohl die T1 mit LS 3.5 als auch die J1 mit QSI war meilenweits besser in der Soundqualitaet (meiner Meinung, als auch die des BR05 Eigentuemers ) Naja, die BR05 ist ja ein etwas aelteres Design ... (BR10?)
hat sich erledigt, ein Modellbahnkollege aus Australien hat die Beta ausprobiert und ein demo movie in den files der yahoo group abgelegt. Scheint zu funktionieren! (Diese Datei ist aber nur fuer Mitglieder dieser yahoo Gruppe erreichbar)
