Next I have to ballast the track in the tunnel,
so that I can close it and finish the track above the tunnel

The station is "Eliseyna"
http://cardmodel.alle.bg/
I and a friend design them using photos and original drawings and we make laser cut kits.
The rolling stock for now is only EMD GP50 by Bachmann and a few waggons

Thanks for the link, a freind of mine will translate it for me.
Although the GP50 is a nice engine, it doesn't really fit in a bulgarian setup. As far as I know the Bulgarian Railways have some material from Germany or runnign in Germany. Maybe you like to do a small retrofit of an existing model in the future?
Looking forward to see more of your small layout.

Hi,
i like your layout. It is a very exciting idea to build one in a koffer. How big is it?
The scenerie is nice too.
Is it easy to get model railway things in Hungary? Are there many shops?

Hi,
the size of the layout is 0.67x0.43m ..The koffer is 17cm deep
I`m from Bulgaria, not Hungary..there aren`t many shops...4-5 in the whole country..and it is a very expensive hobby here

that´s in deed very nice . The layout can be taken out from the Koffer
for playing , after finishing put back .
What kind of black material did you use for stone imitation along the track ?

The layout will be fixed for the koffer. The top of the koffer is removable.
If you mean the ballast as the black material, I think it is the standard N scale ballast from Noch

This looks really great.
What are you gonna build in the middle of the suitcase?
cu, Rainer
P.s.
Did I saw an Union Pacific Engine on one of your pictures?

Yes it is an Union Pacific GP-50 engine...or actually it was...I made some cutting and modifications to the chassis to fit in the the BDZ class 55 body.
About the middle of the suitcase..I am planing a small square, with some construction work going in the upper right corner...something like pipe repair.

Do you know the locomotive Piko S699 (from the GDR)? This is very similar.
