Hallo.

Auch Kingbridge is a English based investment firm. If there is one thing that is a lot better from English and American firms it is their service. This is certainly better then the old conservative Germans firms.
You seem to forget that Kingsbridge is a financial investor. They do not produce anything, they usually have little to no contact with private customers or dealers like a producing company does, so they are certainly not interested in improving the quality of service of their newest aquisition. There simply is no reason for that.
All they want is to sell at a higher price than they bought, likely as soon as possibly. So what they are doing now is brushing up the old horse to make it look more attractive to potential punters: a lick of paint here, some number-washing there... that's all. Just short-time cosmetics to make the company look good today. Better service means more success tomorrow, but who cares what tomorrow brings? Märklin will be someone else's problem by then.
Bye,
(endlich paßt meine Grußformel mal )
