If you like to have a really small DCC function decoder that sets you back just some $2,50, the ATTiny might work for you.

I used the wrong word ... it is not a function decoder but an accessory decoder. Still it van be used in rolling stock to switch e.g. coach lighting. It will need a power elco though to prevent resets with power glitches due to bad pickup.

The address is configured in the software. If you download the code, or have a look at the blog's Software page, it speaks for itself how to do that.
