Roco Doppeltraktion MX645P22

#1 von nzrailfan , 22.08.2023 12:04

Hi all,

Anyone else experienced this strange behavior ? Two x Roco E-Loks both with MX645P22 79948 and 73227 both can be speed matched perfectly using the 28 speed step method but once driving together on my layout using CV 19 and CS3+ with the sound turned either on both or just one locomotive (how I prefer) there is slight delay when starting driving and if you have the sound on in the front locomotive the rear will start earlier and vice versa. I have tried numerous options but cannot solve.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Richard

Hello

A loc with sound has always a starting delay because of the sound procedure compared to a loc without sound. But this would explain only that what you observe if only one loc has sound activated.

In some decoders you can set the duration of the delay. Check in the manual of Zimo if it is the case on your decoders.

Did you already "play" with CV 273?
It ist a delay function for drive off for steam-locs (chapter 5.5), but there is a remark "also for non sound decoders.
Maybe it works also vor e-locs and when sound is switched of.

Otherwise send a e-mail to zimo. in my experience you will have a answer very quickly.
