Gave the waves a first coat of gloss paint and I picked up a lot of Vallejo air color yesterday on a show. Couldn't resist to try and airbrush one of my unweathered Forneys...first time ever with I worked with an airbrush..

Animiert es mich doch fast dazu meine 80 t Shay in H0 n3 wieder auszubutteln und fertigzuzangeln !

Pass aber auf daß es nicht zu weiteren Betriebsstörungen kommt, der Vorläufer ist entgleist !

Konntest Du mit meinem Tip, den Hund an der Unterseite etwas zu beschleifen, was anfangen ?

As you can see in some of the following pics I repainted (sprayed) the railbus. The rough cot of brushed on paint is still underneath it. Started with several rust tones, added a coat of chipping medium and sprayed on 2 coats of green in 2 shades...also added some rust and stuff to the forney, more like the militar way..













Funny stuff this Vallejo chipping medium, sprys it on and after drying a coat of paint. When dry just take a stiff wet brush and you brush off the paint again..like the use of hirspry as an undercoat..

Egal was du Modellbauerisch auf die Beine stellst...Natürliches Grün, karge Felsen, aufschäumendes Wasser, deine Fahrzeugalterungen, oder deine wirklich klasse Gebäude...ich könnte da ja noch viel mehr aufzählen...

your weathering look very authentic and amazing How long does the weathering for your steam locomotive take?Also your river looks very good. I find the technique how you build the river very interesting. I haven't seen this technique before.

Die sind tatsachlich mit einem flexibeler filler gemacht, heist Alabastine in die Niederlande, glaube Moltofill in Deutschland..http://www.molto.de/produkt/molto-elastik-moltofill/

Still havin'fun with the airbrush..although some are repaints over brush strokes..





Coachcar, not done yet but in a better state as the railbus..



got some trouble closing the roof....and work on the pier with shacks, floating pier added and a small boat under contruction..

Tried a caboose today, wanted a look with weathered wood and peeling faded paint..started on a basecoat with several colors Vallejo air color to achieve this wood look on the Bmann plastic stuff. Finished with a wash of sepia ink..and a matt varnish sprayed on to seal the whole



still thought it's to dark so I added a light drybrush with titanium buff light (tube with artist acrylics



after this a cople of spots and dashes with Vallejo chipping medium, they are the darker glossy spots in the picture..



Masked a couple of things and spraypinted it with a mixture of Vallejo rust, mahagony and white..



Well let it dry for a while and took a wet brush and brushed of the paint and chipping medium...



After that I sparyed a bit of earth tan underneat, on the trucks and the lower body..



Couple of small things to be painted. Time for on the layout shots..

Treffe gerade meine vorbereitungen zum ersten seminar Naturliche begrunnung mit eine Elektrostaten. Ein haufen kleine dioramen mit unterschiedliche schichten sind vorbereitet und arbeite gerade selber an ein kleines dioramen um sehen zu lassen was moglich ist.....











Nicht nur grasfasern und elektrostaten aber auch unterschiedliche materiale zum weiteren begrunnung kommen an den tag vorbei...

Started weathering a couple of coalcars, still a bit unshure about the trucks on this 18' Bmann, the look a bit wide in my eyes..maybe I should replace them with BVM T-2's..

Ich liebe einfach Deine Anlage! Es ist immer wieder schön in Deinen Thread zurückzukehren und die neuesten Fortschritte zu entdecken. Ich gehe auch phasenweise mit der Idee schwanger auf 1:45 umzuschwehken, weil ich dann meine Tabletopleidenschaft mit meiner Eisenbahnleidenschaft verbinden könnte.

Danke Uli, habe selber keine ahnung wieso aber es geht mir immer leicht ab...Armi, dass sol etwas werden, table top und eisenbahn...steampunk !!

Well now I have them painted and weathered. Leave the trucks for now alrhough I think the would look better with narrower trucks...added a bit of detail like real coal..just have to paint steps, styrups and breakwheels..

@ milocomarty, in Richtung Steampunk gibt es ganz entzückende Figuren, schau mal nach Lead Adventure, das Set mit dem Taucher könnte zu Deiner Anlage passen . Ich finde es übrigens gut, daß Du das Wasser nochmal überarbeitet hast, damit der Wellengang nicht mehr so starke Schaumkronen hat. Er wirkt jetzt damit gefälliger.
