Hallo,

As I'm working for the Märklin Customer Service in Belgium, I want to make a demo lay-out.
I have already planned some parts of the lay-out. The main-station (4-perons) and the mountain station is already planned.
Also a cokes industries with a train formation station is planned.
The only thing I 'm not satisfied is the "Dampflok-Betiebswerk".
I 'm looking for some idea's or lay-out examples with the next articles of Marklin in it :
- 7286 +7687
- 7510
- 72941
- (76501)?
The dimensions I can use for the "Dampflok-Betriebswerk" is +- 3m x 1.2m. If necessary, this can be made larger. The room has a dimension of 6m x 11m. For the lay-out, I can use +- 5m x 8m.
So, if someone has some ideas, I would be please to hear about.

Some time ago I tried to convert a steamengine depot from the book "Gleispläne" writen by Günter Fromm (Page 34).

It size would be 3x1m using Märklin C-Gleise.



Please note, that the crossing between track 1 + 2 will be cut to a lenght of 60mm to allow a smaller distance between the tracks.

I hope this is helpful for You.

warum willst du das Bw mit C-Gleisen bauen?

Die Drehscheibe hat Anschlüsse für das K-Gleis. Würdest du also K-Gleise im Bw verwenden brauchst du nur ein Übergangsgleis in der Bw-Zufahrt und hättest keine Mischung.

Nach deinen Angaben benutzt du bereits C- und K-Gleise.

The BW will be made with K-rails. I have already bought some tracks and turn-outs in K-rail for the BW.
I do not know yet it I will use C-rails in other parts of the lay-out.
I have discussed this with a friend who will help me with the scenery. He prefered to do this part with K-track.

I am thinking to use C-track in the phantom station. There it is easy to use it.

this is the Plan of the BW which I build at the moment.
The length is about 3,5 metres.It is made with K-rails.
